Purchases in Prep for S/S

Banana Republic | Pique polo (navy)
The polo did not fit as well as I would have liked. I'm a 5'9", 160 lbs, slim/athletic build, and I ordered a small. The hem is slightly longer than I had hoped, and it would be nice to trim an inch off the hem. It looks nice on me, and may look like it would fit if I had more meat on me. I'm considering returning it.

Banana Republic | Slim fit stretch poplin dress shirts (white, mercury grey)
Banana Republic | Tailored slim fit soft-wash micro-stripe shirt (damselfish blue)

I was fortunate enough to snag these items on sale with an additional discount of up to 50% off at Banana Republic.  The three dress shirts are designed for non-casual wear - they have yet to arrive, and I'm hoping that I won't have to return them.

Bonobos | Casual Shirts
First: "Dalton Ridge" Red & blue plaid
Second: "Seabrook" Violet & green plaid

Snagged these for $28 each, from the original price of $85 per shirt. What a deal! I have definitely fallen in love with the solid quality and build of the shirts.  When first trying the shirts on, they feel slightly rigid and awkward (because it's right out of the factory), but after the 2-3 initial washes and some casual wear, they will definitely become "broken in".

The Dalton Ridge's blue is actually darker than it is shown on screen. The shirt is very comfortable, and I know I'm going to be wearing it for a long time.

Unfortunately, I'll be returning the Seabrook. The shirt looks more violet than light blue, and it gives off a weird, off Christmas tone. I would not feel comfortable wearing it.
